Just about every day so far in May has been good, and we had our first Thursday night ride of the year. The full weekly ride schedule is now active (Thursday, Friday, Saturday, and Sunday). For our main ride on Sunday, Saturday night it looked questionable for Sunday, but it turned out to be a good riding day. The rain never came. The route took us through Moorestown and along the Delaware with a rest stop at the Orange Blossom Café.
Team Evesham wasn’t only active in South Jersey this past week, we had team members riding or running in Mansfield, PA, the hills near Pennington, NJ, the 5 boroughs of New York City, and Philadelphia.
This week, if you want to see the Police Unity Tour, they arrive Thursday for lunch at the Abundant Life Church, 4151 Route 130, Willingboro, NJ. I have been told it is an impressive sight. It will be day two, a 100 mile day, of the ride to Washington D.C.
Ride of Silence – Join Team Evesham on Wednesday, May 16 for the Ride of Silence. We will begin at 6:00pm from Indian Spring Golf Course, 115 South Elmwood Road, Marlton, NJ. Join cyclists worldwide in a silent slow-paced ride in honor of those who have been injured or killed while cycling on public roadways. This event is open to all.
Don’t forget the ACS Bike-a-thon “Bridge to the Beach” is on June 10th. Are you signed up? Are you ready?
Check our Upcoming Rides page for the schedule of Team Evesham rides and other rides for good causes.
