Early last week with the approach of hurricane Florence we weren’t too sure if the weather would be good for the weekend. Fortunately for us Florence stayed South and we had sunny weather.
It was a full weekend with rides with on Friday, Saturday, and Sunday. However, the key event this weekend was the Foster 100.
Team Foster is a volunteer organization that partners service dogs with area veterans who suffer from combat related disabilities. One of their fundraising events is the Foster 100, a century ride from Philadelphia to Cape May, thus the “100”, and is limited to 200 riders of which 40 were Team Evesham members. Congratulations to all our riders.
The next day we had over 60 riders at Rastelli’s for the Sunday ride through Vincentown to the Pemberton Wawa.
Note: Two water bottles were found in Rastelli’s parking lot after the Sunday ride. They can be retrieved at this coming Sunday’s ride.
