We ride for the joy it gives us, the camaraderie it offers, and the exercise that keeps us spinning in good health. Team Evesham has a long history of also riding for others and our members raise tens of thousands of dollars each and every year to support the needs of those around us. Consider participating in some of this year’s great charity rides.
Ride for Olivia was held July 11th in support of local Camp No Worries. Thank you to the over 180 riders who participated this year! This ride supports a great cause in Camp No Worries which helps kids dealing with the challenges of cancer. A big thank you to all our ride sponsors, including Ott’s Greentop who served us a fabulous recovery lunch!
September 11th: Foster 100. An annual favorite, the Foster 100 riders travel from Camden to Cape May and raises funds to provide vital service dogs to support those who have supported us, our Veterans. Join a platoon, put in the miles, and support a great organization (Foster 100 Registration Link). Also, get your bike looked at in advance of the ride.
September 19th: American Cancer Society Bike-a-thon. The ACS Bike-a-thon brings people together to honor cancer survivors, spread the word about reducing cancer risk, and raise money to help the American Cancer Society save lives. Jump on board to Atlantic City to support those impacted by cancer (ACS Registration Link). NOTE: Bike inspections are required prior to the ride. You can get this done at our sponsor, Aistriu (located here) or at any of the shops listed on the bottom of this page from ACS.
September 25-26th: MS City-to-Shore. The MS ride sets out to change the world for those affected by MS. City-to-Shore is an experience driven by passion, camaraderie and desire to make a difference. Ride from Philadelphia (or other starting points) to Ocean City and consider making the return trip the next day. It’ll be a ride to remember for a great cause (MS City-to-Shore Registration Link).
More…There are even more riding opportunities out there. See our Other rides of interest page for more information.
So join your Teammates for some great riding, some great experiences, and to help these organizations achieve great things for our community and those around us.
